Three Sections were formed \u2013 Monday Night the Photographic Section for Prints and Slides; Thursday for the Video Section; Friday for the Cine\/Slide Section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the year 2004, Digital Photography was starting to replace 35mm slides, and prints from 35mm film stock, so a Digital Stills night was arranged for once a month on a Wednesday. By April of 2004, this had increased to 2 nights a month, and in September 2005 it was decided to hold a Digital Stills night every Tuesday, the newly formed Digital Group remaining under the financial umbrella of the Video Section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also in September 2005, the Cine\/Slide Section, not having produced Cine Films for many years, in favour of Video films, changed the Section\u2019s name to the Film\/Slide Section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In October 2006, The Photographic Section had dwindled to only 3 members, so it was decided to discontinue the Section altogether, and its members started to attend the Digital and Film\/Slide Sections instead. Membership has averaged 50 per year ever since.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2008, the Club started entering all competitions run by The Lincolnshire Photographic Association, with a fair degree of success at times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In October 2009, a Monday Morning Group was set up as a branch of the Digital Section, to cater for those people who couldn\u2019t, or were reluctant to attend or go out in the evenings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In January 2010, the Film\/Slide Section was renamed the Multi Media Section in order to better reflect the activities of the Section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In December 2011, the Club successfully applied for a grant from the \u201cAwards for All\u201d, Big Lottery Fund, and were awarded \u00a310,000 to replace the rotting wooden floor in the Main Hall, and to install a Disabled Toilet. At the same time, at the Club\u2019s expense, we renewed\/replaced all electrics and wiring, added a new heating system, converted the old Darkroom into a Tuition Room, and \u201cstreamlined\u201d the Clubroom Equipment held. The project was started in April 2012 and completed in August 2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In July 2013, a Studio Group was set up, meeting on the first Wednesday of each month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In October 2013, the Multi Media Section was renamed The Friday Section, as it no longer did anything but Digital Photography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Mid 2014, it was decided to join the North and East Midlands Photographic Federation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In October 2014, the Monday Group became a Section in its own right, and is now known as the Monday Section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In January 2015, a second Studio Group was set up, meeting on the second Wednesday of each month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In January 2015, Cleethorpes Camera Club set up an Audio Visual Group, meeting on the last Saturday morning of each month.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\"><p>We have four regular meetings a week Monday morning&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;10:00 \u2013 12:30.&nbsp; Tuesday evening&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;19:30 \u2013 22:00.
